3 of the Best Cruelty-Free Fake Tan Products

It’s that time of the year where summer is literally just around the corner. Which means it’s time to dig out the fake tan or maybe invest in a new cruelty-free fake tan!

I have spoken about in other posts how I am slowly replacing all of my products with cruelty-free brands. With summer starting next week I recently started to my fake tan regime again. However, I wanted to make sure what I was using was cruelty-free. Here are my top 3 cruelty-free fake tan products!

Bondi Sands

Bondi Sands has been my go-to fake tan for around a year now. I really love the foaming moose as it matches my skin tone really well and doesn’t look orange. I recently started using the gradual tan moisturiser and I absolutely love it. It’s very light, dries quickly and a tan developed after 3 days. It’s great for me because I’m lazy and can’t be bothered using fake tan every week. They have a back applicator which I desperately need! The face lotion looks great too, that’s on my next to try list. You can purchase Bondi Sands at Farmers and most pharmacies.

St Tropez

I consider St Tropez as the holy grail in fake tan products. Sadly at the higher end of the scale, it’s not something I can afford to buy regularly. Again my favourite is the moose, but for a one night only tan then you can’t go past their appropriately named, one night only, fake tan! Also, they do a remover mitt, I haven’t tried this yet but if anyone has can someone let me know if it works?! You can purchase St Tropez at Farmers and most pharmacies.

James Read

I have never personally tried this brand but James Read this the Top Tan Man in the UK and has managed to create a universal formula that suits all skin tones. Also, the packaging is very cute! They have a huge range of products including prep products, BB creams and products for actual sunbathing. You can purchase James Read from Mecca.

What’s your go-to fake tan brand? Are you planning on switching to a cruelty-free fake tan brand?
