Working full time can be exhausting and it’s easy to spend evenings and weekends in front of Netflix and mindlessly tune out. However there are plenty of other ways to relax and unwind that are better for you than binge watching TV shows. Here are 10 ways to relax that aren’t Netflix.
1. Run a bath
Add some Epsom salts and lavender oil, or maybe a lush bath bomb and simply relax in a hot bath. Perhaps even add a face mask too and don’t forget a glass of wine and a good book!
2. Read a book
A lot of people say they don’t have time to read, however turning off your laptop or TV and choosing to read a book for the 30 minutes before heading to sleep is better for you. It can be part of a bedtime ritual that helps prepare your mind and body for sleep which results in a more restful slumber.
